Terms of Service

Last updated: September 8, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms govern use of Learnivon (“Learnivon,” “we,” “us”) — the scheduling, classroom, homework, and billing tools available at learnivon.com and the Learnivon web application. Learnivon is operated as a sole trader based in Cyprus. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you’re a student and under the age of majority where you live, you confirm your account was set up by your teacher or a parent/guardian on your behalf.

2. Accounts

Teacher accounts can sign in either with Google or with an email address and password. While Learnivon is in private beta, teacher accounts are available by invitation only, and completing sign-in with an address we haven’t invited will not create an account.

Student accounts are created by a teacher and sign in with an email and password chosen at setup; students do not sign in with Google. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account.

A teacher is responsible for the students and family contacts they add to the Service and for having the appropriate relationship or consent to do so.

3. Google Calendar integration

A teacher may connect their Google account to let Learnivon create a calendar event when a class is booked, and remove it if the class is cancelled. Classes themselves are taught in the Learnivon classroom, not in an external meeting tool. Connecting Google is optional, applies to teacher accounts only, can be revoked at any time from the teacher’s Google Account settings, and is described further in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything unlawful or to harm others.
  • Upload content you don’t have the right to share.
  • Attempt to access another teacher’s or student’s account or data without authorization.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service’s operation or security.
  • Use classroom video, chat, or homework tools to harass or abuse another user.

5. Content you provide

You keep ownership of homework files, chat messages, and other content you upload or create in the Service. You grant Learnivon the limited right to store, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service (for example, delivering a homework attachment to the intended student, or relaying a chat message).

6. Billing and invoices

Learnivon lets a teacher generate and send invoices to students or family billing contacts, and mark them as paid.

A teacher may also connect their own Stripe account to accept card payments on an invoice. Where they do, the payment is made to the teacher’s own Stripe account and is subject to Stripe’s terms as well as these. Learnivon is not the merchant of record, does not hold or receive a teacher’s funds, and takes no fee from a payment. The teacher remains solely responsible for what they charge, for refunds and disputes, and for their own tax obligations. A teacher who does not connect Stripe collects payment outside the Service, exactly as before.

Pricing for a teacher’s own Learnivon subscription, where applicable, is described on our Pricing page.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service reliable but don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features involving third-party providers — Google Calendar, video calls, email delivery — depend on those providers also being available.

8. Termination

A teacher may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or poses a risk to the Service or other users.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Learnivon is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves, and will update the “last updated” date above. For material changes, we’ll notify teachers by email.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions in your own country of residence.
